BL870c i2 to BL890c i2 - memory question

Looking for the “best” balanced approach to the following two different BL870c i2

Blade #1 BL870c i2 – 16 Cores Today with 256GB of memory using all 8GB so each socket has 64GB.
Growing into a BL890c i2 32 Core system BUT the system only requires an additional 128GB.

Blade #2 BL870c i2 – 16 Cores Today with 256GB of memory using qty 8 x 16GB and 16x 8GB so each socket IS NOT Balanced.
Socket #1 has 4 x 16GB and 4 x 8GB
Socket #2 has 4 x 8GB
Socket #3 has 4 x 16GB and 4 x 8GB
Socket #4 has 4 x 8GB
Growing into a BL890c i2 32 Core system BUT the system only requires an additional 128GB.


Solution
Blade #1 – Balanced per socket would be fantastic to me simple math would be 384/8/8 or 48GB per socket = 6 x 8GB – purchase all 8GB parts
Blade #2 – Balanced per socket would be fantastic so again 48GB per socket but how to make sense of this one

Help with Blade #2 …. Purchase 8 x 16GB ??? and move around the 8 x 8GB from socket #1 and #3

The proposed configuration does not follow the BL870c i2 memory loading rules. The 16GB DIMMs would have to be distributed equally between the CPU sockets on blade 1 and blade2.

The best balanced approach would be to use the same DIMM sizes and capacity in both blades -> replicate the blade 1 configuration in blade 2 since it looks like for blade 2 you only need 256GB of memory.
